1. About CousinVin

CousinVin is a technology platform that connects individuals seeking legal services with independently licensed attorneys. CousinVin is not a law firm and does not practice law. Use of this platform does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and CousinVin at any time.

2. No Legal Advice

Nothing on this platform — including any content, information, form, or communication from CousinVin — constitutes legal advice. All legal services are provided solely by the independently licensed attorney who has accepted your engagement. CousinVin has no involvement in the substance of your legal matter.

3. Platform Use

By using this platform, you agree to:

Provide accurate information in any form or communication
Use the platform only for lawful purposes
Not submit confidential or privileged information prior to the establishment of an attorney-client relationship with an assigned attorney

4. Attorney Independence

Attorneys on the CousinVin platform are independent licensed professionals. They exercise independent professional judgment and are solely responsible for the legal services they provide. CousinVin does not supervise, direct, or control any attorney's legal work.

5. No Guarantee of Services

Submission of a request through CousinVin does not guarantee that an attorney will accept your matter. CousinVin makes no representation that legal services will be available for any particular matter, jurisdiction, or timeframe.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CousinVin shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of this platform, any legal services provided by an attorney, or any dispute between you and an assigned attorney. CousinVin's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you to CousinVin, if any, in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Dispute Resolution

CousinVin is not a party to the attorney-client relationship and will not mediate, arbitrate, or otherwise intervene in any dispute between you and your attorney. Any such disputes are solely between you and the attorney.

8. Changes to These Terms

CousinVin may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
