Attorney Disclaimer

Effective date: March 15, 2026

CousinVin Is Not a Law Firm

CousinVin is a technology platform, not a law firm. CousinVin does not practice law, does not provide legal advice or representation, and does not employ attorneys to represent clients.

No Attorney-Client Relationship with CousinVin

No attorney-client relationship exists or shall arise between any user and CousinVin at any time. Submission of information through this platform, payment of any fee, or any other interaction with CousinVin does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Attorney-Client Relationship with Your Assigned Attorney

An attorney-client relationship is established solely between you and the independently licensed attorney who accepts your engagement and executes an engagement letter with you. All duties of confidentiality, loyalty, and competence run between you and that attorney — not CousinVin.

No Privilege with CousinVin

Attorney-client privilege does not attach to any communications with CousinVin, or to any information submitted to CousinVin prior to the establishment of an attorney-client relationship with an assigned attorney. Do not share privileged or confidential information with CousinVin.

CousinVin Will Not Intervene in Disputes

CousinVin is not a party to the attorney-client relationship and will not mediate, arbitrate, or otherwise intervene in any dispute between a client and their attorney. Any such disputes are solely between the client and the attorney and are subject to applicable rules of professional conduct and law.

Independent Attorneys

All attorneys on the CousinVin platform are independently licensed professionals who exercise independent professional judgment. CousinVin does not supervise, direct, or control any attorney's legal work, strategy, or advice.
